Lake Mills Elementary School Awarded $1,500.

Updated: Oct 10

The Lake Mills Area Community Foundation awarded a $1,500 grant to the Lake Mills Elementary School to purchase and install a GAGA Ball Pit on the playground. The ball pit is used to play a gentler form of dodge ball that reinforces skills tied directly to the school's Playworks Program. It is designed to help students build social and emotional life skills through the power of play. The ball pit is ADA accessible so all students can use and enjoy it. Total cost of the project is $2,000 with $500 already having been raised by the PTO. Pictured here in back: Pam Rogers, Rick Mason (LMACF board members), Dom Gischia (Assist.
